Job Summary: 
We are seeking a highly skilled Odoo Functional Expert to join our team. As an Odoo Functional Expert, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Odoo ERP solutions to meet the business requirements of our organization. You will work closely with both technical and business teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of Odoo modules, driving continuous improvement and optimization of our Odoo environment.

Responsibilities:
● Business Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders across departments (Finance, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, E-Commerce etc.) to understand business processes and translate these into functional requirements for Odoo ERP. 
● Odoo Configuration & Implementation: Configure and customize Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.) based on business needs. 
● System Integration: Collaborate with the technical team to integrate Odoo with other systems (e.g., third-party applications, legacy systems) and ensure smooth data flow. 
● End-User Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption and usage of the system. 
● System Optimization: Monitor Odoo performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to improve efficiency and usability. 
● Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, workflows, and user manuals. Provide regular reports on system performance, issues, and enhancements. 
● Process Improvement: Continuously assess business processes and recommend improvements through automation and optimization using Odoo’s features. 
● Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform functional testing of Odoo modules, identifying issues or gaps in functionality, and work with the technical team to resolve them. 
● Project Management: Lead or support Odoo ERP implementation projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while delivering high-quality solutions.

Requisite Skills:
Technical Skills: 
● Proficiency in Odoo's core functionality and customization capabilities. 
● Experience with Odoo Studio for simple customizations and business rule automation. 
● Familiarity with Odoo’s database structure (PostgreSQL) and basic understanding of Odoo’s Python-based development.
 Business Acumen: 
● Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, HR, and manufacturing. 
● Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions within Odoo. 
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: 
● Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify root causes of issues in the system. 
● Ability to assess business processes and propose automated solutions using Odoo. 
Communication Skills: 
● Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
● Ability to train and support users in various departments. 
Certifications: 
● Odoo Functional Certification is a plus but not required. 
● Any other relevant ERP certifications (e.g., SAP, Oracle) are an advantage.

Education: 
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 
● Relevant Odoo or ERP-related courses or certifications are a plus. ​
