Odoo Technical Developer

Job Summary: 
We are seeking a highly skilled Odoo Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within the Odoo ERP platform. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, in-depth technical expertise in Odoo, and a passion for delivering high-quality business solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and Maintain the Website Interface: 
Work on building and maintaining the website’s frontend using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, OWL(Odoo Web Library) to ensure a smooth and dynamic experience. 
• Customize Odoo Website Modules: 
Modify and develop Odoo themes and website modules to align with design and functionality specifications provided by the team. 
• Collaboration with Backend Developers: 
Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend features and backend functionalities. 
• Ensure Responsiveness: 
Implement responsive designs to ensure a user-friendly experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. 
• Optimize Website Performance: 
Continuously optimize the frontend for speed, performance, and scalability. 
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: 
Identify and resolve frontend-related issues efficiently to maintain smooth website operations. 
• Stay Updated with the Latest Web Development Trends: 
Follow and implement modern web design standards and trends to keep the website current and efficient.  

• Technical Skills: 
o Proficiency in Python programming. 
o In-depth knowledge of Odoo framework (Odoo.sh, ORM, QWeb, etc.). 
o Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript. 
o Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JQuery). 
o Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git). 

• Problem-Solving Skills: 
o Ability to debug complex systems and resolve issues efficiently. 
o Analytical mindset for identifying and implementing effective solutions. 

• Soft Skills: 
o Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
o Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team. Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with knowledge of Odoo Website development. 

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, OWL(Odoo Web Library). 
- Experience with Odoo CMS and customizing Odoo website modules/themes. 
-Strong understanding of responsive design principles and how to implement them. 
-Knowledge of templating engines like QWeb (Odoo’s templating engine). 
-Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. 
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. 
-Experience with API integrations and web services. 
-Communicate proactively and are comfortable with both verbal and written communication. 
-Should be creative and have thoughts from the UI/UX perspective as well. 
-Any exposure to eCommerce Application development will be a huge plus. 
-Hands-on experience in development/engineering experience. 
-Consulting on SEO best practices, testing the site using linting tools during development for usability and fixing any bugs.

Qualifications: 
• Experience with Odoo Studio and Odoo.sh. 
• Certification in Odoo or related ERP platforms. 
• Experience with Agile development methodologies. 
• Knowledge of Linux server administration
